This site is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you open a page, Cloudflare processes the technical data needed to deliver it and protect it from attacks: your IP address, date and time, the page requested, your browser and operating system, and the page you came from. This data is not combined with other data. For visitors in the European Union, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

4. Visitor statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see, in summary form, which pages are read, which site or video a visitor came from, what kind of device and browser is used, and how fast pages load. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and builds no profile of you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. What your browser remembers

If you close the small note about the book in the corner of the page, your browser’s local storage keeps one entry saying you closed it and when it may show again. That entry contains no personal data and never leaves your device. You can delete it any time in your browser settings.

6. Links from Cal’s videos

Links in Cal’s YouTube descriptions carry a short label, for example calsutter.com/?v=hay. When you click a buy button, the page passes that label on to Gumroad as campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign), so we can see which video a sale came from. The label names the video, not you.

7. Buying the book

The buy buttons take you to Gumroad, Inc., which sells the book as merchant of record and processes your payment. Gumroad is responsible for your payment data. See the Gumroad privacy policy. From Gumroad we receive what we need to deliver the book, process refunds and answer questions: your name, email address, country and the details of your order. We never see your full card number. The legal basis is the performance of the purchase (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legal duties to keep business records (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

8. When you write to us

If you email us, we use your message and address only to answer you. Our mailbox is provided by Google. We keep the conversation as long as needed to help you, and purchase-related messages as long as the law requires us to keep business records.

9. Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, limit its use or hand it over in a common format. You can object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Write to ocultasupply@gmail.com. If you are in the European Union and think we have handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus or to the authority where you live.

If you live in the United States: we don’t sell or share personal information, and we don’t use it for targeted advertising. You can still ask us what we hold about you and have it deleted, and we will answer the same way for everyone.

10. Children

This site and the book are meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.

11. Changes

If what runs on this site changes, this page changes with it. The date at the top shows the latest version.
